This year the Horsham Flying Club, formally the Wimmera Soaring Club is celebrating its 60th Anniversary.

The club was formed following a gliding demonstration by members of the Sunraysia Gliding Club and a subsequent public meeting at the Horsham Town Hall in March 1963.

As part of the 60th Anniversary celebrations, the club is holding a dinner on the 19th of August at Westside Horsham. This is the venue operated by the racing club in Bennett Road. Details about obtaining tickets are in the notice below.
